That was in Jan of 1995 that the bill was presented to small claims court. Maybe at that time he was in dire straights to put food on the table. Been there, done that when I went out of business over 12 years ago. Luckily, my creditors were willing to wait to be paid. Doctors are notorius for pushing their claims. Even if you go to them and ask for relief. At least you haven't found any personal bankrupcy filings...look for that. Then he wouldn't have been sued...he'd have been protected from all that.
