MC, you've been reading my posts on BK from a week or two ago, haven't you? Yes, risk spreads have widened and that's one of the reasons I expect a recession. I meant the rally in long treasuries.

No gold for me, though. It is not a deflation hedge (not that it's a good inflation hedge either). Might read the prospectus on Fidelity Cash Reserves, though. Don't want any shrinking dollars. ;-)
