Hey Dave- As I've suggested (and as a friend who runs a pretty large fund-of-funds hedgefund put it) is that I'd want to be on the other side of whatever Long Term is on. So long gold may not be a bad idea for a near term trade. OTOH, gold seems to be at a near term top, so maybe I'd wait for a pullback. Fwiw, I've heard LT hired on the head of Goldman's option desk - which makes me think GS may also be at risk in this debacle. What could help bouy this market at some point would be to hear that a majority of the behind the scenes unwinding of LT had already been done. Steve
