RE: Beards ...

But look at the resurgence of Islamic fundamentalism and the tendency toward long uncurried beards in the Talaban and others. Not to mention the Sikhs and the Hasidic Jews. Leaving aside growing environmentalism and the reaction against disposable and non-recyclable products. Those damned blades made of stainless steel and platinum will be there in the back of medicine cabinet forever -- or at least until red-Sol engulfs us all. I think the trend is against the razor. I want something I can rub on my chin at the age of 14 that will keep the beard from growing even after death. I will pay as much as the fee for, say, circumcision.
