Jay...we are all making educated guesses......i avoid the temptation to look at the charts and come to the conclusion "hey this looks just like July 1965, therefore it is going to copy that move".......in looking at EW there are a limited number of combinations and eventually it ends up as 5 waves in one direction and then 3 (abc) in the opposite............in the case of 1929 5 cycle degree waves had been completed marking the end of Supercycle 1 and this was followed by a supercycle size correction, Supercycle 2....Supercycle 3 followed and was corrected in the 1970's by Supercycle 4. Now there are many, including some on this thread, that believe we have finished Supercycle 5 and are in the midst of a monsterous Grand Super correction...in order for this to be true then all 5 Cycle waves of Supercycle 5 will have been completed....there IS legit evidence for this call..........however, there is also strong evidence that we are currently in the 4th Cycle wave of the Supercycle 5 and since it is my $$$ i chose to play this read and i am looking for a rally thru earnings and then the culmination of this 4th wave to terminated around 6875 to 7000 ..........of course, i may be wrong!! if it breaks those levels then its going to get bad in the meantime, all substantial corrections start out looking like 1929 sorry if my previous comment sounded smug, but you must remember that i have been know to trade in the nude and have publicly accused Plonk of stealing my bag of glue -g- carl
