I called a downturn in ASND a month ago, using a technical MACD indicator to make the decision. I got out of ASND completely and now I feel good on two counts. For one I got out and I can watch someone else anguish for a while and secondly, I think that I may have found a pretty good tool for forecasting major price movements in stocks like ASND.

My little tool is quite simply to plot 20 day and 50 day moving averages. When the 20 goes up through the 50, then it means that things are moderately bullish for the particular stock. Vice-versa, moderately bearish. If you dont believe me, then got to www.investools.com and check out the charting service. Put up ASND for 1 year with the 20 and 50 DMA. It appears that it does an OK job of calling the intermediate-term moves. I almost got back in a week ago because the 20 was almost through the 50. However, I stuck to my guns, did not buy and look at what's happening now. Would appreciate some comments.
