Hi Sultan: I think this Angoss deal will significantly complement HUM's recent BI product offerings....and it only cost them $1M. This is a lot cheaper than an outright acquisition. What a great way to keep their R&D expenses down. I'll bet they have almost immediately begun to put the source code for KnowledgeSTUDIO, KnowledgeSERVER and related components into their beta BI product offerings. It may not do the trick overnight but it sure can't hurt. The question is what rights will other BI SW companies have to this SW? I wonder if HUM arranged for exclusive rights. I would hope so.
