What else can we do?

On the one hand: Demonstrate. Write our congressmen. Write letters to the editor. Organize a lobbying campaign. Etc., etc.

On the other: Refuse to be impressed by high-sounding rhetoric. Call a spade a spade. Insist on getting a straight answer to straight questions.

Actually, now that the cold war is over, I think there is at least somewhat less hypocrisy than there used to be. For example, that old distinction between "bad" (their) dictators and "good" (our) dictators appears to be breaking down (although Castro is probably guaranteed the dog house in perpetuity).

Exactly, thanks for finally getting it right.

<<Life and the world we live in isn't always pretty .But we can only do the best we can.Define it any way you want.>>

In order to accept the "bigger picture" we all need to learn to use Clintonese. That is, don't draw conclusions based on facts, and definitely don't ever label things what they are, unless you want to be called nasty names. You don't want to end up like Linda, the ax murderer, Tripp do you?

Why is this the bigger picture. Just look at that wad of bills in your pocket. That's what the BC supporters keep trying to point out. Now pay attention.
