Certainly, he has to entertain the majority, which almost always has to be positive in outlook. Otherwise, his show will be cancelled, for lack of interests. Even if market goes down another 20-25%, and goes to a prolonged 9 months of basing period, his show will continue. He will be very busy consoling and giving hopes those whose retirement plans and portfolios have taken a setback. Eventually, the market will go up again, given enough time, say 10 years. The probability of the Dow30 to double from last month's low and going up above 14,500 is greater than to lose 50% and going down below 3,700. In the meantime and IMHO, for the short term (3 to 6 months), the probability of Dow30 going to 5,500 - 6,000 range is much more likely than going to 10,000. His radio show will go on and he will become superstar again, when the market start its rise from the rubble.
