Rollercoaster: Dan said futures last night were up 10. I checked at 4 in the morning and they were down 14. now at 8:00 am EST, they have just turned slightly positive. Europe blood red, so either argamagedon or reprieve. critical area here 7600-7500. stay tuned. stocks i like today: CBS, ALK, LSI, MUEI, NXLK. CCK (Crown Cork) at 26 is sure getting tasty, of course keeps getting tastier every day. Greenspans' hinting of other hedge fund catastrophes not helping. aint it great. larrry

I figure that in this market; steep drops just get met with no bounce and further drops. I've paid a price initially learning that behavior, but now I've mostly found that waiting some yields some nice entry points. Nothing looks good at the moment, but after the first of the year; we'll see where this is headed better than we will know today. As for FORE; it is looking pretty good today and the networking group has held up fairly well; COMS didn't collapse this time around for example.
