look, here is what i am looking at...before you even take depr into account, the company is losing money on ops. THAT is the point, at least as far as skeeter and i are concerned.

thats it.

what the original poster was trying to say is that depr may be what is keeping the EPS down. while i think it probably is, its not the only thing putting MU in the red. if you are losing money in operations, its a problem.

my point with the tax issue is that once you are losing money on ops, the only thing that depr does for you is create a carry forward, which when (and if) you turn profitable again will be helpful. but when you are losing money, before you account for depr, it doesnt make a difference.
