re. <<Turbodyne Receives Shipment Order >>

Well, Turbodyne has issued yet another confusing (and possibly misleading) news release.

Recall that many months ago that TRBD announced receiving an order from TransBusiness Group. Turbodyne indicated then that the initial shipment of goods was supposed to be Oct. 1.

So what happens eventually on Oct. 2? Did they announce a shipment of goods on Oct. 1?

No.

They announced an order from TransBusiness Group. Not a shipment, but an order. Again.

I wonder how many times they will announce the same order without actually shipping anything, or actually collecting any payment?

Moreover, the language in the news release re. financing is also obfuscatory. Recall that the co. had previously issued a news release suggesting that financing had already been arranged by the ExIm Bank. Then the co. filed a 10Q that said that no financing had in fact been secured. This suggests to me that the initial news release was misleading in suggesting that financing had been arranged.

Now they issue a news release that says, in unclear language: "Payment for the shipment will be through Direct Bank to Bank Financing and appropriate Export Credit Guaranty." Since this fails to say that they actually closed on a specific financing deal with a specific lending agency, it seems to me to be just so much hot air. They capitalize the first letter of a few words to make it look like something official and final ... hmm ... tricky, isn't it.
