Sam, a cogent, ardent post ye hath done...

Can you please open to me, though, the thoughts behind the two segments of this final sentence:

"I have no problem with atheist beliefs and Rick seems to have the right attitude."

Do atheists have beliefs? Or are they beliefs in opposition to belief? And, thus, pretty metaphysical creations? (I mean, and this is sort of silly: A believes in God. B does not believe in God. B postures himself as an atheist. An atheist is therefore someone who does not belive in what he says isn't - and, so, his creed consists of rejecting a non-being, which is sort of spooky, isn't it?)

Also, part two, exactly what is this Rick attitude that might be right?

I will add, petulantly, that you have skipped by a cpla intriguing ideas of my post to you - and I feel ignored, slighted, and somewhat one-upped in this exchange. (Is your intensity in your dedication so intense that it hears only itself?)

Still friends, I hope, Geo.

Sam, response <<Privatizing schools would help their cause immensely and we need to get on top of this before it is too late.>>

So freedom and capitalism equates to religios persecution??

Sorry, the connection doesn't add up Sam.

Forcing the middle class and poor into government substandard education institiutions, while the rich receive the benifits of privatization is real bondage for America's children.

Tahts what breeds ignorance and dependants.
