I just got a sell signal using the 20 period ma instead of the 50. I am not going to trade it, but want to start watching the other ma's to see if they have any interpretive value to possibly trade off of. TICK needs to hit -250 now to have a sell signal off of the 50 period ma.

Tom, Many are expecting a bounce today or Monday, including myself per my earlier post. I think you may have hit on something with the VIX. Recently the VIX had a trading range of 33-53 approximately, with the BUY SIGNALS in the 33-36 range and the SELL SIGNALs in the 50-53 range. Right now the DOW is up 75 but the VIX is at 43 which is smack in the middle of that range. In light of this, there is a chance that this rally may not last into Monday We are already 180 points off of today's low which is a substantial move and many may be expecting alot more. They may get dissapointed. If we close near the highs, then this rally may not continue on MON. If we close near the LOWS, then we should have a rally MON. If we close FLAT - its a flip of the coin. ggggggggggg Regardless of any bounce, such should not last long. Seeya
