Mark, I cannot speak to the results obtained by Russell as I've never seen a report. As for Dr. Johnson, I've also never spoken with him. It is a fact, however that Sid has no love loss for either Lett or Johnson and evidence is that he has burned every bridge he ever might have had with them. This is the reason that he doesn't even speak with them (as stated in the Sept 15 release that Mark Summers is now the conduit between Naxos and J/L. I don't know when J/L was supposed to have had the process nailed down, but there must have been some promise as indicated by reaching any agreement with them. The fact is, Sid could have delayed the announcement for a week or so and gotten the results to finally answer the question regarding the J/L process... he chose not to because (in my opinion) he chose to ignore any possibility that it might work. If the J/L process does show promise, Sid has just sold the golden goose for a song. Paul
