Wow, it's a bloodbath out there. Worst that I can remember. (But my memory isn't that good -g-.) Not too many posts here either. Everybody around here must be in shock. Probably the most sensible thing anybody can do is to lighten positions, maybe start (if not already) some short positions. Certainly just step aside until we hit bottom. After all, every day it seems to get worse no matter what value stocks we own or are looking at. Yeah, that makes the most sense to me.

So of course I will ignore that and continue, as I have today, to add to positions I am uncomfortable owning. It's the only way IMO -g-.
Added today to CNC, LHO, LEH some others. FWIW. Paul Senior

Fwiw. Becoming more and more difficult for me to hold on to LHO. Sold a bit today. My first sale since '01. In retrospect, I goofed when I had that same feeling and reduced position in '00 and '01.

I'm grateful for the info and support I received here on this one. Thanks, guys!

Fwiw, I'll drop my remaining shares of Big Lots to a mere tiny stub now.

I've been in this stock to some extent - ranging between light and heavy - since at least 1998. The company's gone through machinations as MacFrugal's, Consolidated Stores and most recently, Big Lots.

At current price, my opinion is there's more risk than reward to the stock.
