Hi,
Is it possible the equity markets will return to appreciating assets which not only return capital, but provide a return on capital, or is this an old fashioned notion whose time has past? I am thinking about commodity producers, like oil and gas and metals, foods, etc. All the "stuff" that many people take for granted every day. Any comments out there. It appears that so called financial assets have imploded. I supose this is because many of them are somehow linked to hedge funds. Even the "growth" stocks that don't pay dividends have been heading down in share price. Any comments out there?
regards,
teevee
