I wonder where Arthur Anderson and all the other members of the 'Big Eight' Accounting firms were last year and the year before that and......? Issuing unqualified reports no doubt? Now they seem to have discovered truth in accounting? Makes you wonder, and remember too the many analysts who said that the next century belonged to Japan, etc. Now we have analysts on the talk shows giving the impression that they knew about the problems of Japan all along.
