You really think Yahoo and Netscape are comps? You really don't do fundamental analysis on internet stocks i.e. projecting earnings at different cost structures with different levels of market penetration while accounting for costs, debt, etc? Use option valuation. Really. You'd have to admit Yahoo and Amazon both are much stronger advertizing companies (essentially) than Netscape - this is evidenced by web traffic and ad revenues. And we haven't even talked about AOL - they're making money and really seem to have become a dominant player - despite skeptics like me who thought they would be destroyed by the net, by the way. What projects will NSCP invest capital to undertake and how might those projects result in higher earnings growth? Please show and tell me. Also note, I own none of the above companies - although I have owned CSCO and NSCP and, unfortunately, SPYG in the past (to name a few)...
