I was seeing the internets not participating in the fall today, and thinking how different that was from last month when they all did their share, particularly AMZN. I think people have done some re-evaluating.

Also think it shows the emphasis of the negativity to be overseas. (Not that we didn't already know that)

re MSFT: isn't most of their growth (potential) seen as overseas?

I think these little rallies we're seeing are mostly short covering. Plenty of people like you and me content to stay on the sidelines until the smoke clears. I think this is especially true for RMBS. There's a strong shareholder base, but new buyers are slow to come in, once any short covering spike finishes, it drifts lower. bp
