Mary, [edited] Tom's seventh grader comment is unhelpful. It implies an adult who doesn't understand part of PnF is not as smart as a seventh grader (without helping the adult understand.) Adults have more mental baggage that may prevent them from understanding part of PnF. Much better to identify what part and then concentrate on alternate explanations. Mary, if there is something in PnF you don't understand, please just ask for help on the main PnF thread. There are a number of helpful experts there. Gottfried PS: I'm reading Tom's book for the second time now and it does seem quite easy compared to the first reading. That's probably because there are so many simple facts to remember, that I couldn't keep them all at the forefront the first time.
