CGI Group To List On New York Stock Exchange October 1, 1998 MONTREAL, QUEBEC-- Listing supports company's growth strategy focused on the U.S. CGI Group Inc. announced today that it has received approval to list the Company's shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "GIB". CGI's shares are scheduled to commence trading on the New York Stock Exchange on October 7, 1998. CGI currently has 115,959,074 Class A subordinate shares issued and outstanding.
