Just remembered: it was GE chair who sparked the rally. As GE was lower than Sept 1 low, he made an announcement that they will do whatever is needed to cook the books to financially engineer this Q to analysts' prediction which he gave them to predict. He used different words, though, he said: "we have a unique business model that allows us to achieve these results" or something close ...
