Your are starting to frustrate me jb.Your missing the point so I'll put it another way.Some body is holding a gun to the head of a sleeping relative you cannot tell the judge or refuse to lie or they will be killed.I know that this is ridiculous but it is the point that lying can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the circumstances,that I am trying to make.Surly you can conceive of a situation where lying can be a good thing.Can you say the same thing about murder? I'll bet you can about killing though.You cannot substitute apples for oranges.The law does recognize circumstances .Killing in self defense is not punishable. Murder is. It is the circumstances that are different.I'm starting to get a headache. pez
