OTIf something is wrong then it's wrong,
Put me four-square behind preserving the whales and biodiversity in general. Regulation is something that can be worked around, extinction is forever.

Still I believe All generalizations are FALSE. To everything there is a season. Who is to say what is wrong?

I think that it is necessary for the proponents of actions which may have a long lasting consequence to prove that their idea is not wrong. Even so they must also prove there is a need . Any group which proposes to make itself a living museum should be prepared to be a museum in every sense.

In conclusion, I think the highest authority is an informed consensus. I do not know how to determined who is informed to make the consensus.
