jwk --- I have already stated Jj did a nice job with Bloomberg. I believe earnings will be there this time (but I was wrong last qtr). Plan --- hell no. The company is good and Y2K will make them a ton of money but I have yet seen any PLAN be on the way to completion. IF someone there uses the Y2K profits wisely this is a winner.... the timing of the mkt fall that has a large impact on the share price along with many past mistakes and Y2K coming too quickly to regain lost momentum and new investors to replace those that ran all factor into the old high being ancient history. Post Y2K the company could be anywhere --- depending what is done with all the cash. To rely on the core and additional purchases of the same nature will help keep the company from seeing double digit again. With luck they will find another tech avenue that will be complimented by todays core business. The rev/eps from this will be hard pressed to sustain more than 6+++ post Y2k. It seems Y2K has been discounted from the price now, but adds a little and we know where the range is. If we see a P/E of 15 on this tears earnings we should be around 10 now. After Y2K profits are over,,, maybe 7.That is based on the fact no more dilution or rediculous financing since they will be overflowing in cash. No one can be 100% certain the mkt will rise, TAVA will act like a normal company, or investors can be lured back in. The comments on todays volume, which still was not at avg daily, sounded nice but there were more traders playing than anyone holding. The last I saw was 20% inst holding --- that needs to grow but they need a reason and being down approx 70% from the 52 week high is not impressive. Once that high passes and TAVA is up and the 52 is in this area it may be possible to drag more in--- hopefully not by discounts as in the past. Some of us remember holding more than was purchased at a discount by some PP buyers. That type of BS does not lure anyone into investing. I am sure that PLAN was not what you were referring to. Too many mistakes to call this a first class company. HOPEFULLY they learned from their mistakes,,, but they have to prove it and it is much harder and takes longer to get past mistakes than to not make them in the first place.
So -- Some of the reasons for being in this price range were out of mgmts control. And yes Jj does SOME things right. He is honest and bright. One of the best managrs around. Managers are not all CEOs... possibly the OJT period is over??? But will the mkt allow it to rise and will investors come back? Traders too (traders are responsible for todays increase IMO along with Rubin)? Will no more big mistakes be made? Not all these things will happen or happen quickly, but I am hanging in for 9 or 3 whichever comes first or wherever post Y2K. Three is closer and was almost done today... they have a long way to go...........
