At this point in BC's lies I don't think we can keep saying it is to hide an affair (if we ever could have). The assumption there is that he has concern for the honor of the other person. I don't thing Jennifer Flowers et al would support that notion.

How about stealing to hide an affair?Maby just a little judicious blackmail to hide an affair?>> Jb you stopped just at the wrong place.The next logical question was "How about lying to hide an affair?"The answer to these questions would be No NO No YES I say to you in my opinion the lying about an affair is not an impeachable offense.
