I think Steve Kaplan is right ... today's rally was technically very weak and likely precipitated by small investors that were shorting stocks and suddenly got caught and had to cover their positions.

This "meeting" on Monday is IMO a lot of fluff .... there is not much these people can do - if there was - it would have been done by now.

Heard rumours that Lehman Bros. were on the ropes .... another biggie going to bite the dust - or will the feds spoon feed these weines too!
