I find amusement in anyone's miscomprehension of the value of our Bosnian facility as being dependent upon the number of U.S. troops stationed there. I guess China won't be a market until we send in the Marines. Great dd.

Don't just count OUR troops. Those calls to the hinterlands of the former USSR, Turkey, etc., weren't being made by OUR troops, I'll betcha bunches. All of NATO troops are the one you should figure into that equation.

Then add all the civilians there supporting the effort -- you know, ones with money. Like reporters, diplomats, other country delegations, relief workers, contractors, etc.

Our troops are the ones making calls to Germany, Italy, Turkey, Netherlands, Belgium, etc. As are the troops from the rest of the developed countries. And their civilians.
