Doug A K -- Your point is well taken, and thanks to Dilbert, we're able to laugh more often about work's travails and management screw-ups in whatever our chosen field or profession. But, I'm not sure that is the problem with GPGI.

It seems to me we're on the verge of doing something completely new that has never been done before and has great potential to change the economics of mining of precious metals and PGM's. But we must know where we've been before we can improve. That's why it is very important to document every variable at every step of production. That's what the McKay Manual is all about as I envision it. We can't do it one way on Monday and another way on Tuesday mid shift and a third way on Wednesday swing shift, if we're ever going to consistently extract microclusters from desert sand. Once we get fixed procedures in place, we can "tinker" in the lab with the process and hopefully improve upon it as we go along. But at least we'll be making a profit in the meantime (hopefully).

I don't think the employees will mind falling in line considering the alternative is likely to be the bankruptcy of GPGI and thus no jobs for anyone. Salary increases can come only if we're making money, another big reason for everyone at the mill to get with the McKay program.

Regards,

Jeff
