ED: I used to own SFA in the 80s and did ok. I recall when I bought some in the $3s. I got out at $9 and then it really went up (of course). So when I saw the damage the market did to it in less than a hour I had to reflect back on SFA's old days.

By-the-way; I have a note to myself from XMAS eve 1997 that indicates then WX was at $27 1/4. Heck the DOW wasn't anywhere near where it is now so can that $27 1/4 be right ? Also, remember that front page Barrons "CBS Rising" article from March 1997. I still have it. Then WX was at $17ish with the DOW at around 6890. In that issue they indicated estimates for CBS' media elements cash flow at $1billion for '97. They also indicate earnings-before-ITDA between $1.5 and $1.60 per share for '97 and improving to $2.13 for '98. Do you know if that estimate made in early '97 actually reached $2.13 for '98 ?

Also, within the same 3/97 article an it was suggested that the stock could hit $25 !
Heck that's where it is now !

Thanks
