Michael, too true. I will respond with an anecdote, which I am starting to think is a chick thing, but I think you'll understand, I used to work at Exxon Refinery in Baton Rouge, Powerformer #2, if that means anything to you, and my foreman liked to tell us anecdotes about the old days, some of which I have never forgotten. He told us that when he started at Exxon (used to be Esso, of course, and before that, Standard Oil) during the Great Depression, a day's wage for a white man at the plant was $1. I started in 1972, when the Federal Government told them they had to hire women, and I made $5 an hour, which was fabulous back then.

So, I understand that the little guy couldn't invest, and I gather that you are a mackerel snapper, like me, which means, ipso facto, that we are both little guys, but so what? This is a brave new world, isn't it, kemo sabe?

Yours,

CobaltBlue
