Some more evidence of Intel's decline:

news.com

Intel is losing buckets of market share to AMD, Cyrix and PowerPC/Mac. I think Intel has peaked and it's going to be downhill all the way from now on. When that happens, Intel's economies of scale will drop, and they will not able to keep cutting prices. Gross margins will keep shrinking while sales stagnate.

And yes, there is an anti-trust suit coming up.

Creative has about two years to fully move into the internet/convergence/consumer electronics/software space. Given its solid fundamentals this should not be a problem. All the rules are being rewritten even now.

DesktopTheatre 5.1 and PC-DVD Encore are Creative's first two clear forays into the living room. More to come, perhaps with the help of an established player like Matsushita or Sony.
