Mikey,

I looked quickly at CSCO and the sector. Best to close out the short Oct puts on the reflex bounce, and then establish a long-term synthetic long after the market retests its lows and the direction is stablized. Leg into the put side first and leg into the call side when the trend reverses up.

There are mixed signals of a recession on the horizon, the 1/4 rate cut by the Feds in Nov is a given and my sense is another rate cut will not be far off. Bond market is now pricing in a recession sometime in the not distant futures. The utilities index making highs conflicts with a recession in the making however.

Mikey,

The funds were twiddling their thumbs the last two days deciding what to buy, today they bought AMAT and NVLS and TER (yes, OJ I saw). Check the block action, and tell me what you see now. MF cannot catch the change in sentiment on a dime ... ahh, but then you know my views.

Mikey,

I was catching up on reading SI posts, and saw Don Sew's posts on cooking. The prawn recipe looks fabuluous, check it out! I might try making it with chicken even. btw, do you cook at all?
