Yea, I went to UT during the Johnny Majors days in the late 80's. I lived in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa for 2 years each in 91-92 and 93-94. Went to every UT vs Bama game for those 4 years both in B'ham and Knoxville. Was in the endzone when I watched in disbelief as "The Deuce" David Palmer ran around our D-line for a 2 pt conversion which tied the game and prevented our 1st defeat of Bama in 8 years (I believe this was in 93). Have enjoyed the last 3 yrs vs Bama, though. I've never seen UT beat Bama in person. I think I might be somewhat of a jinx. I've got a lot of Bama friends, and Auburn (but no Florida ones!). I suffered greatly during those long 4 years in Bama country. But now I've enjoyed restitution these last 3 yrs... Seriously I feel bad for Bama last year and from their defeat by Ark. I still don't look forward to playing them this year, even in Knoxville. They're gonna have something to prove. But of corse, we could get beat by Auburn and/or Georgia by then. Let me know what you think about the Henry Ford/pitbull switching. Vol
