Seasonality,
From what I've studied, depending on your preferred investing time frame, you want to be in the markets:
Pre-election and election years
Nov 1 thru May 30
And I believe it's the last three thru first 5 trading days of the month, but seem to remember reading it may be shorter, like 1 thru 3. Oh well, as you get older your mind becomes like a steal trap -- nothing gets in, nothing gets out :-(.

Off Topic> Ditchdigger> too early to tell if our little 1 day foray into foreign will pay or not. Asia opens neutral to very slight down bias.
I might go another day, but will reevaluate during day tomarrow.
You are aware that there are also meetings monday and tuesday in washington.(finance ministers).
