Hi Mark
thanks for the good will I need it..I think the distribution of wealth in the USA back when was what made the country so strong and solid.
I love democracy over any other system and capitalism.
When it works correctly, the competition factor should prevent inflation..the more goods are produced, the more workers would be employed and spend money on other goods and everybody's standard of living would rise..it would prevent pirhana(sp) capitalism where
big corporations devour small businesses and turn democracy in a ruling lobbyist regime..
When there is a flow of money into a few hands, there is less and less competition and prices should remain higher than necessary until deflation hits..
If the Nikes of the world had paid more to their laborers they would have wound up creating a bigger market..
Last night had a discussion with a friend..we talked about the comglomerates taking over the agricultural businesses..We talked about the effects of stress on cattle..corporations probably raise stress ridden creatures(wouldn't it be great if there really was karma)..
supposedly stressed animals provide tougher meat and studies I think are beginning to show that stressed animals are prone to more types of diseases..and then we eat them..but probably the heads of those corporations would have their own little "boutique" herds..
