New day and refreshed and thanks to all, have grown a lot in the past 24 hours due to the PMs I received---this was my first run in with being badly battered and the first time must for all be sort of a rights of initiation --a makes one a wiser and better investor for the future. I feel for those who may be in my situation of having a disparity in net profits realized and losses unrealized I have come to realize that it is best to take most of your losses now,and not after January 1st given the market uncertainty--I am going to liquidate my every holding (except for CDNW) not in a massive sell-off all at once but through GTC sell order playing for some reasonable upticking to reduce the present loss somewhat, but could manage to take to more loss if I must. The worst possible case is I would be back to about 10k up for the year, and best possible case I will be back to 43k up for the year---this is really a surprise,I thought my situation to have been much worse--one just gets a sick feeling to see 50k profits vanish in one week---and I will forever hate Bear Stearns,as I believe they were telling their clients to sell off NTKI in advance of the downgrade and am certain they probably have a short position on it.(BTW,NTKI still has 3 or 4 strong buy ratings). Now as I sell my ABTX and AIRM for a loss(for tax purposes) I will be buying both back .I will here state that anyone who would want to spend a week of their life intensely studying the ABTX will find why we believe this will be a 5-bagger from the 11 level in 2 -3 years-- they now have already have 12months targets between 28 -40 dollars(and with Deutsche Bank saying 40 is their low side target and 60 their highside target). But I stress no one buy ABTX without UNDERSTANDING why--it is a complicated story--and if you don't undestand it,you will not be happy with holding the stock. I have seen a silver lining here,in that I will be holding my most favorite long at a much nicer cost basis.Good luck to All,Max
