I have avoided weighing in on the atheism/religion discussion - even though I have a herd of caffeinated opinions scrabbling for a way out of their confinement. But first I just wanted to sit back and listen. Some of us (my hand is up) simply thrive on laborious existential debate. In any case - this thread is as good a home for such as you're gonna find on SI. (There's always the Reef...) For some perspective - if you wanna see waht it takes to wear out your welcome on this thread - go back some sixteen months to the time of the Igfestation. The resilience of the lotus eaters here is really something. :-)
