Jim, there's one other thing about gold. As its in large part reflecting the fears of owning equities in a turbulent times, I'm watching it to help indicate the turn in equities. Gold traders, I've found, are always playing the market.. there aren't alot of them who buy gold like one would buy IBM or GE for appreciation.. its a trading vehicle. When they feel things have 'stabilized' they'll be some of the first to see the turn in confidence.

Then again for you gold bugs, maybe we'll see gold over 400...
