I am imagining the courtroom scene........

"Oh, but Your Honor, I'm SO sorry I did these bad things and since I don't have any of the money I stole any longer..... you see, I spent it on a huge house and lots of vacations and cool cars and stuff...would it be OK if I just get a severe tongue lashing, probation, and 3 hours of community service like all of the rest of the guys you 'prosecute' ? I promise not to do anything like this again for at least a couple of months."

In the text readers will see the name of Octagon. This company was founded by John Royal a number of years ago.Involved with this operation were Cambell,Tully and Christensen of ICMX/SEXI fame. The company ran into difficulties with the SEC and the 2 principals were fined,if I remember correctly $35K and ordered to behave. Now Royal founded and operates Digital Commerce Corp[oration which includes Tully on the board of directors. Their business plan defines antique and art works being sold via the internet.

Just goe to show that you can't keep a good man down.

I had read the article you referred to on the SEC web site. I posted a comment pointing out the name of one of the companies involved with Stratton Oakmont. The name Octagon. Interesting tie to SEXI herein. Octagon was founded by John Royal who had Jim Tully,Bob Christenson and Bob Campbell of ICMX/SEXI fame working with him in this venture. Octagon at one point sent out a news release announcing a hugh foreign sale. This the SEC looked at and found it to be fraudulent. Royal and his number 2 man were each fined $35,000 and enjoined from any further violations of SEC rules. Soooo-off he went and founded Digital Commerce Corporation with Jim Tulley on the board of directors. I heard a rumor a few days ago that Tully and Royal had left DCC and when I called the company I confirmed their departure from that organization. I am checking further to try and determine why they left. Was it [perhaps another SEC demand???
