Survey: what browsers are most stable for you, and when/how? I'm sick of netscape crashes. Granted, I often run a dozen or more browser windows at once, but I'm running NT 4, have plenty of memory and resources, and am not doing anything too funky (weird java applets, etc.) in any of the browser windows most of the time. It would be one thing if one window crash didn't bring down all the others, but alas this is what happens. Sean mentioned awhile back that IE 4 was working much more stabily for him. I haven't (yet) switched to it for two main reasons: (1) a short period of usage a while back suggested it would crash with similar frequency; (2) I'm much more familiar with using netscape. But if others have had his experience, I'm willing to give it another try. I also just downloaded Sun's HotJava. I may resort to keeping three open at once, two with just one window containing key data (thus insulated from crashes causes by other windows), and a third with all the other windows. What are your thoughts and experiences? Is there any thing you heavy-duty browser users do to minimize these incidents? Thanks, Dave
