Lou... Joe explained on the show one day that he was attending school, studying biology, in the Boston area when his Dad sent him some money and told him to invest it. He said "okay," and although he knew nothing of the stock market, that he drove thru the financial section of that community daily and so, thought he'd put his Dad's $$$ in stocks. He bought shares of 2 companies. One was DEC and I can't remember the other. According to his story, technology was hot and new and he had no trouble making $$$ on his first investment. At that point, he decided that perhaps becoming a broker was a better deal. You know the rest. I truly enjoy him as well as all the folks on the show and really like the light, humorous touch. El
