There's no doubt that Dell has outperformed CPQ for the past several years. There's also no doubting that CPQ has been a piss poor investment the past year or so. However, Compaq is transforming itself into a Computer Giant and this invariably takes time and some grief. My investment in Compaq is not for the short term. I've been in Compaq since 1991 and so far so good, and I believe the future for Compaq is bright.

I'm also bullish on DELL as a company...I think its stock though is a tad pricey.
