Exposed! That's right: I'm in league with the devil, Jeff Vinik, and we're supported by the world-wide heretical reach of Mo Mo Mary Meeker. Who's gonna stop us now? Saint OtherChap, the dragon-slayer and voice of reason??

Is he simpleminded that he cannot see the
absurdity of the long-term FA argument? No, he is not. He is actually watching other
things, as he made clear yesterday.

eb,

I would never call William simple mined. I do believe that he believes that AMZN does have a good future.

Ironically, it may be those of us who have complete conviction in our
bearish views who are responsible for the most damage to others, since we
are in effect giving people reasons to go short in a rigged game. That is why I
apologized if my posts had given others encouragement in their bearish views and led
them to act on them to their loss.

People are to do their own decision making. Not go long or short based on comments made by you or anyone else. You should not apologize for posting your views. That is purpose of this forum. Post ones views. William has been trying to get me to go long for months. I respect William's ability but have not gone long. I have and still have a downward bias on AMZN. My losses are due strictly to my calling the movement in the stock price incorrectly. If I post an opinion, and I turn out to be incorrect, I plan on not apologizing for it. I added my thoughts and try to use good reasoning to back them.

The rules of the game have changed in part because of the internet, which provides
apparent instant community. One can no longer be as sure of the meaning of what one is
reading, or the consequences of what one is saying. I'm going to be much more careful,
and I just want to warns others to be so too.

You are an excellent asset to this thread. I believe you are being too hard on yourself.
