SGGNF is trading and if one so wishes, they can sell. No one here is arm twisting anyone to hold onto their paper.

If someone wants to sell....then sell and get on with life!

John and myself are two of many shareholders that like the potential of this company and are not bound by any laws to voice our optimistic prediction, opinions etc on this thread.
Since you have no direct stock position nor interest in the company it shouldn't be any of your concern who we are, what we say or how we feel about it.
Guys like you always visit this thread whenever the stock inches up a bit, almost like an unwanted old, painful and mighty ugly arthritis.
I would politely suggest that you take your preachy attitude and shut the door quietly from the outside.
Lastly be a gentleman and never re-visit or we might start to suspect that you could have an agenda. Go in peace my boy and don't look back. Have a good one.

Angusb, your post in my view is welcome news. It proves certain people are getting worried; that's great!
What I do object to is if someone uses my name to support their cause. Please show me where I ever said or implied the following:
I agree with kidl, there is nothing other than speculation supporting this company
As a long time shareholder I do feel that I have the right to be critical and to sometimes bring up issues which may ignite controversy. I fail to understand (well, maybe I don't) why you, not being a shareholder, would even take an interest in this company.

Whatever the reason, who cares ... that's your business. What I do care about is if I am being used in the process. So, looks like you have a choice:
Substantiate the above quote or publicly apologize on this thread for misquoting me within 24 hours.
Failing both, you will have made a "friend" who does not take this kind of stuff lightly, has a lot of time on his hands and has learnt a long time ago how to deal with these kinds of situations.
Take your pick
kidl

Angusb, I had to add this, but I agree with you on this point:

>>>>there is nothing other than speculation supporting this company<<<<

I agree, and I would bet that all the shareholders in SGGNF understand 100% that this is a highly speculative company.

>>>>I am just tired of reading all of the "just wait 'til next week" posts.<<<<

Why are you so interested in Sungold?

I can understand your skepticism regarding Sungold.

For certain shareholders and an outsider such as yourself who might have only limited knowledge of Sungold and its developing projects, your peripheral viewpoint of Sungold would be one of a struggling company that appears to have a shitload of potential but are still relegated to trading on the Pink Sheets and to this date, still have nothing substantial to show for it! As a lurker on this thread, you might also wonder why there is such a overwhelming positive attitude towards Sungold and you might conclude that SGGNF shareholders are in a stage of denial and they are just surviving on blind faith. And this blind faith will eventually culminate into a financial disaster for all shareholders! Well, hopefully by the end of this posting I can make you more aware of our present situation and perhaps change your viewpoint.

In the meantime, I'll make the assumption that since you're lurking on this thread, you must certainly recognize the possible enormous financial rewards available to existing shareholders and to potential shareholders possibly like yourself. Before I invested in Sungold I clearly understood that, at the time of my investment this was a high risk stock but this was also a company that had legitimate projects and even though it would require a great deal of time to develop these projects, there would be an incredible payoff if only one of the projects came through. For me , that one project is the proposed Michigan Casino! There are 4 projects in the works, but please permit me to share my opinions with you and others in regards to the Michigan Project. For those who are not aware, the Gun Lake Band formally requested federal recognition in 1992 and then in 1994 they signed an agreement with Sungold to help them in the recognition process and eventually to assist them in the development and management of their proposed casino. It has been an extremely lengthy and laborious process with only a few press releases, and that can certainly test any shareholders mettle. I have friends who grew tiresome of the perceived lack of activity and they were also somewhat frustrated in their dealings with Sungold which eventually lead to their capitulation and they sold their shares. Everyone now understands and can appreciate the sensitivity involved in the negotiations and its my belief that, it was not the intention of Sungold to appear to be disingenuous by invariably failing to address the concerns of shareholders. Quite simply, they were unable to elaborate in greater detail regarding their on-going negotiations because that would have hinder or jeopardize their projects!

Now, what I'm about to say is just my personal opinions on the Michigan Project. You may term it as pure speculation or conjecture. Sungold has now started their marketing campaign and if shareholders can recall that earlier this year, how adamant Sungold was about shareholders not pestering the BIA and others for information, then you can read between the lines and safely assume that after 6 long years, the GLB has finally achieved federal recognition and the official announcement is pending. It is also my belief that the GLB will have their compact included with the 4 other bands which have already received their federal Indian recognition status. The 5 Indian compacts along with the gaming licence for the 3 Detroit casinos will be introduced on the same bill that will be passed through the Michigan Legislature. I'm not certain if its possible to have the bill passed this year but it will certainly be passed early next year. Its important to understand that any Indian band that has received federal recognition has never been refused to have their compacts approved. The waiting period may vary but in the end all federally recognized Indian tribes will have their compacts approved and this permits them to build and operate casinos on their own land. It is my understanding that the land-site for the Michigan casino has been selected and approved. All the details regarding the Michigan Project: property location, operators, casino design, projected earnings, financial partners, management agreements, etc, will be announced. I strongly encourage you and all potential investors to perform your own due diligence and I'm certain you'll all recognize the potential here and maybe consider buying in. I tend to follow the progress of the Michigan Project quite closely and at this point, I feel very confident that there will be no further delays and the anticipated announcement is imminent.

On a more personal note, I'll let you know that I have a initial investment of $100,000 in Sungold. During the 2 years that I have owned the stock, I have never bought or sold any portion of my shares.......that is until 3 wks. ago. I consider myself a prudent investor and last month I added 10,000 shares to my initial position! I have many other investments and if at any time I felt that Sungold was a bad investment or "dead money", I would have cut my losses by selling my entire position. But I didn't and 3 wks. ago when, in my opinion I considered the Michigan Project a done deal, I quickly increased my position in Sungold. The majority of my friends who sold their positions several months ago, are now scrambling to get back in. Initially, they wanted to wait for SGGNF to be upgraded from the Pink Sheets to the computerized OTC trading status and also to wait for the official announcement but they and others are now fully aware that the Michigan Project is about to be announce and they are anxiously attempting to accumulate shares. Me, I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show!!!
