Tim A:

Concerning predictions about LOR/G* for the near, mid and longterm:

Near term I remain, as you know, very bearish. I think the market is still thrashing around and the real exit for the doors is yet to come. At that time i am looking for LOR in the single digits and, as mentioned, I am long at 6-8. That is the point at which there is significant upside potential considering book value. WE are at the point of looking at book values of companies! That is how bad this market is. I believe the bear will be in LOR's zodiac until the millenium has past. Look for volatility, dead-cat rallies, false-hopes, takeover and merger rumors etc....all teases. At this point if I were still long at 13-14 I would cut my losses and take cash. Cash is king in a market like this one, and unforseen opportunities arise. Longer term I think LOR is a promising company that will undergo a shift in focus and re-structuring. G* is particularly vulnerable right now and may actually melt-down. The liquidity to support it is just not out there.
Happy investing, Slick
