See post to Michelle. I've actually requested that theStreet.com do a series on pre WWII deflation/overcapacity lead recessions. Including, but not necessarily focusing on the big one. Because although I know a bit about the big one, I know very little about the ones prior. Which often were triggered by events similar to today. I have heard, dimly. Unlike anything since WWII, which is all any of the pundits seem to know anything about. I made some suggestions about who might be involved in the dialog. The Editor in Chief emailed me back. Said it was a great idea. And that he was putting someone right on it to develop it. <gg> (Yesterday.) Doug
