A little off topic, are you anticipating a deep recession in the next few years? I saw you on the psft thread. I feel enterprise sw has its own problems apart from other tech biz.

I think there is a much greater risk of that than people think. I don't think it's inevitable. I also don't think it's TOTALLY controllable by what the US government does, or tries to get others to do. I guess I think a deep one is quite unlikely. A significant one seems quite possible to me.

I mean, why not? Just because we aren't used to them, lately? Things feel good right here in River City right now, aside from the stock market? They always do in the early days.

There are plenty of contractionary forces out there. And I also think that while Y2K issues are overplayed by some, they are also going to hurt more than some think. Esp. overseas. Just what Japan and Korea need, right?

I keep trying to figure out the answer to that question, all the time.
