articwarrior,

I screwed that up. I read about United Way and put 2 and 2 together with the fireworks.

Thanks, Greg for putting me straight on the Badami field start-up (first oil was August 20th I think) and future prospects.

Alaskans have plenty to celebrate in that there are a lot of new prospects being announced by Arco and BP. These will help keep the 800 mile pipeline to Valdez full.
I just hope Tony Knowles gets re-elected as governor because he seems to have made a genuine effort to work in partnership with Alaskan oil investors. Past governors and this John Lindauer character seem intent on criticizing any positive moves by Knowles to help oil developments along in the marginal fields that are being discovered.

Regards,

Paul.
